Location: Runway 08/26 with dimensions 3300′ x 200′, elevation 5350′, surfaced with turf.
Note: Ram Falls is a high-altitude mountain airstrip; appropriate aircraft performance and pilot experience are required.
Arrival without notice is allowed, but there is no cell service.
Communication and Safety:
Close flight plan with FIS (Flight Information Service) when beginning descent.
ATF (Aerodrome Traffic Frequency): 123.2.
Watch for wildlife on the field.
Use the river valley on departure.

Airstrip Usage and Regulations:
UWC (Under Wing Camping) and campfires are not permitted on the airstrip.
Use the designated Ram Falls Provincial Campground for camping and fires.
Campground is directly across the road, 30 meters to the camp entrance.
No services available at the airstrip.
Vault toilets are available throughout the park.
No potable water or firewood in the park; bring your own.

Camping reservation fees (2020): $12.

Ram Falls Airstrip is maintained by the Red Deer Flying Club in collaboration with Alberta Parks for the recreational aviation community.
